On 12th August, we made our way along to Sea Road South TRA's meeting - and this year's gathering felt especially meaningful. The evening began with their AGM, where members elected a new Chairperson, taking a moment to reflect on just how far the association has come over the past year.
As stories were shared around the room, it was clear how much pride local residents have in the progress they've made together. From tackling everyday concerns to encouraging more people to get involved, the TRA has continued to strengthen its roots in the community. The meeting wasn't just about looking back, though - it was also about setting new priorities and new plans for the year ahead.
What stood out most was the sense of collaboration. Everyone in the room played a part in shaping the path forward, showing once again how powerful community involvement can be.
To everyone who took the time to attend - thank you. Your voice and your commitment help make Sea Road South a safer, more connected place to live - and we're excited to see what the coming year brings.
17 February 2025
Despite the chilly February weather, there was a great turnout at the Sea Road TRA walkabout. Tenants and residents from the area came together to voice their concerns and had the opportunity to speak with representatives from various services, including FFOTRA, Fife Council, Safer Communities and, Housing Services. If you feel your TRA would benefit from a walkabout, please get in touch.
